Mazda 6 TS2 Estate car for sale, in need of repair. In its current condition (starts and drives fine) it presents incredible value for someone to get it...>
fixed. The details: Super sound and reliable ever since we bought it (4 years ago), but in the last month alone has had a low speed run in with a gate post (see pics), and separately the engine now has an oil leak and it could do with a new rear brake disc. Simple stuff. Get these few items fixed by a garage and you have yourself a real bargain.4 new tyres and new battery upgrade (fitted this year). The interior is standard black in reasonable condition, but would benefit from a valet. All the electrics work as they should. The factory fitted Bose soundsystem is standard with this model (TS2), and includes a Bose sub-woofer fitted into the spare wheel. This car has had one previous owner and has been meticulously serviced. Very low starting price on this auction. Good luck.07828 209469 QuestionsBuyer collects, payment within 24hrs of winning. X

owned it from brand new, purchased late in December 2005 (we have the original receipt!) Stacks of paperwork (everything since new in fact) and of course the electronic service history with it so you know exactly what it`s had done when etc. All main dealer service history - nothing needs doing whatsoever and it`s MOT`d until 2013 for total peace of mind. Next service not due until October. Has served us really well and is a pleasure to drive with a slightly elevated driving position we really like. The DVD player (Mazda fitted) in the back is worth it`s weight in gold on long journeys :-), making them a breeze. It`s neatly ceiling mounted and pictured. Official Mazda Tow Bar added (we have the £350 receipt again) for those occasional trips to the refuse tip - which really saves your boot. Official Mazda5 mats fitted too (with embroidered motif) to keep things neat and tidy too. Good tyres all round too, so just needs a careful new owner to enjoy it really. Good condition all round, with some inevitable signs of use you would (hopefully) expect; so don`t expect a new car here! A very realiable and relatively frugal car - just right for a family; the sliding doors are a massive bonus for getting little ones out safely. Any questions, do please ask. I am happy to accomodate any inspection (indeed I`d positively encourage it). Prefer weekend viewings although eves a possibility. We are 4 miles from J8 of the M11 (ie near Stansted Airport) and very easy to find. Bid with confidence as I have 100% Positive Feedback. Advertised locally, so I may withdraw if it sells - be quick!! X

in good condition (small dent on top of boot lid) about the size of 5p coin-hardly noticable. Interior in really good condition apart from some leather damage to steering wheel. Bose sound system and CD multichanger Electric sunroof and windows. Cruise Control, traction control, ABS, PAS, drivers/passengers/side airbag. Strong Powerful car that still has lots of life in it-only 90,000 miles!! This car was bought in January with the intention of fitting a new clutch and suction control valve, clutch slips sometimes and will need replacing at some point but it is totally drivable at the moment. It goes into gear smoothly. Clutch kits on ebay for 113 pound plus labour unless you can do it yourself! Car can be collected and driven away-no problem. Suction control valve has been replaced (receipt to prove). After a couple of months of driving the car the turbo needed replacing (receipt to prove) so there went my clutch funds and due to having a wedding to pay for by September I have decided to sell and use funds for wedding! We can use our small car until after the wedding and look for something bigger then! The lock button doesnt work on the key fob and only comes with one key. I think again you can buy these on ebay. These cars sell for well over 2500 as they are the TS2 model and have lots of extras. Car is valued at 2800 on what car.com. They make access to the second and third rows easy, although the outer middle chairs don’t slide out of the way as cleverly as they do in the C4The Best Compact MPV in our New Car Honours this year, the Mazda 5 has firmly placed the Japanese firm on the family car radar. From a style point of view, it has a clean look that, although not groundbreaking, is modern and inoffensive. But the most noticeable feature is the sliding doors, which are unique in this segment. They make access to the second and third rows easy, although the outer middle chairs don’t slide out of the way as cleverly as they do in the C4. The rear seats offer similar space to the Picasso, and also pop up and down with ease. However, the 5 has a unique ‘6+1’ seating layout that differentiates it from other class contenders. The two chairs in the middle row slide, recline and fold flat, and both have lift-up bases: the right hand one concealing extra storage, while the left contains a cushion, which flips out to form the base for the seventh seat. The central armrest then doubles as a back support. This middle chair is only really for temporary use, because it’s too narrow and firm to be comfortable. But with a wheelbase 22mm longer than the C4’s, legroom is good, while a flat floor and decent headroom further improve accommodation. Solid build quality and decent materials also impress.Ford Focus-based underpinnings mean the 5 is pleasant to drive, offering agile handling and a decent ride. The engine disappoints, though – it’s slow to respond in lower gears and feels breathless compared to its rivals. Nevertheless, the 5 is functional and handles well, while its price tag offers good value, too. The Mazda 5 is offered with two petrol engines and a diesel in 108bhp or 143bhp guises. We test the lower power oil-burner here in mid-range TS2 trim. The Japanese machine is by far the cheapest of our quartet, and is unique in the compact MPV class as it’s the only model available that features sliding rear doors. AT A GLANCE: The 5 rides and handles well, thanks to its Ford Focus-based underpinnings. Sliding doors blend in well – there are no unsightly silver door runners on the rear quarter panels. SCORES Engine/performance: Driving experience: Practicality: Styling: Value for money: ECONOMY A light kerbweight and low 0.29Cd drag factor should benefit the 5, but the Mazda is let down by a dated diesel that’s sluggish and needs working hard. The result is a poor 33.8mpg at the pumps. RESIDUALS Mazda’s reputation is growing in the used market. The 5 will be worth 45.6 per cent after three years. This low-output diesel performs better than the 143bhp version, but the top performer is the entry-level TS. SERVICING Despite only having 159 dealers, when it comes to servicing, the Mazda’s outlay of £480 for three THISvisits is the lowest here. As with the Citroen and Ford, intervals are every 12,500 miles. TAX IT has the highest output at 173g/km, so the 5 sits in the 24 per cent tax bracket, but a sub-£17,000 price tag means the Mazda is the second cheapest company choice. Low-rate users will pay £884 a year. Verdict Affordable price, well built cabin, logical dash, seat layout, handling, communicative steering Middle seat is too cramped, sluggish engine, nondescript styling, not as modern as Citroen Find Used Cars Find your Mazda 5 with our new used car search. £19920 - £14770 £14770 - £10770 Less than £10770 - Advertisement - Company Website | Media Information | Contact Us | Privacy Notice | Subs Info | Voucher Codes | SitemapOur Other Websites: The First Post | Custom PC | Evo | IT Pro | IT Pro India | MacUser | Men's Fitness | Micro Mart | PC Pro | bit-tech | Know Your Mobile | Octane | Expert Reviews | Channel Pro | Know Your Cell | Know Your Mobile India | iGizmo | Digital SLR Photography | Den of Geek | The Week | Computer Shopper | Dennis Communications | Magazines | Mobile Phone Deals | Competitions | Health & Fitness | CarBuyer © 2010 Dennis Publishing Limited. What Car? says:3 stars out of 5 Read review Buyer's notes Target Price team says: The sharp-suited Mazda 5 is one of the best-looking cars in its class and also one of the more practical thanks to seven seats and sliding rear side doors that make access so much easier in tight parking spots. The seats are arranged with three pews in the middle row and two in the third that are big enough to cope with older children. A decent boot is easily expanded by folding the rear seats to leave a flat load floor.Throughout the Mazda 5, build quality is good and all models are well equipped. There are two petrol and two turbodiesel engines and all return decent economy and class-competitive emissions. There's plenty of grip in corners and the 5 resists leaning too much on roundabouts. Only the 5's strangely bouncy high speed ride lets the side down for this stylish MPV. Mazda is just one of a clutch of manufacturers aiming to prove they can combine the two in a wallet-pleasing package. The Mazda 5 features sliding doors and a veritable origami of seat combinations to convince you it can be your flexible friend – but will you want to take it home with you? 1. Looks 7/10 By no means the prettiest of Mazda’s attractive range, but then it is the MPV and as such we reckon it scrubs up pretty well. The TS2 model we drove featured 16ins alloy wheels, body-coloured mirrors and handles plus roof rails. The recognisably Mazda-fronted seven-seater is neat, compact and boasts sleek lines which, while they’re unlikely to set the heart racing, should make new owners fairly happy with the metal on their driveway. 2. Looks inside 7/10 No complaints here. The silver and black dash and dials are clearly laid out and attractively presented with the gear stick mounted just in front of the CD/radio and air-con. Go for the TS2, which we borrowed, and you get the black interior trim package, leather steering wheel, with audio controls. The interior is understated, stylish and very easy to live with. 3. Practicality 9/10 This is where an MPV needs to impress and the Mazda 5 rises to the challenge. Sliding rear doors will make trips with the kids simpler while the seven-seater vehicle can be cycled through a host of seating combinations which include removing the central seat from the middle row to create a roomier six-seater. The load space ranges from a pokey 112-litres to a whopping 857-litres – depending on the configuration. The Mazda 5 boasts 40 storage compartments, including ten cupholders. The TS2 model we drove also features picnic trays for the second row and an overhead console with sunglasses holder. 4. Ride and Handling 8/10 Mazda has emphasised its models’ sporty features with its Zoom-Zoom campaign – and that includes the Mazda 5. As with Ford’s S-Max, the Mazda 5 is aimed at motorists who need more space but still want to have a little fun behind the wheel. We drove the Mazda 5 TS2 and found it very car-like and responsive, living up to its billing as being fun-to-drive. However, this does not compromise the ride to a degree which will illicit complaints from the very passengers you bought this car for in the first place. 5. Performance 8/10 Buyers can choose between 1.8-litre and 2.0-litre petrol models or go for a 2.0-litre diesel model. The 1.8-litre petrol-model accelerates from 0-62mph in 11.4 seconds before hitting a maximum speed of 113mph while the 2.0-litre model shaves just over half a second off the acceleration and keeps going until it hits 122mph. The diesel model hits 62mph from a standing start in 12.9 seconds and has a top speed of 111mph. The sportily-tuned diesel model clips a whopping 2.5 seconds off the 0-62mph time and an extra 11mph. We drove the 2.0-litre TS2 and found it had plenty of oomph for relaxed motorway cruising while remaining reasonably nippy (for an MPV) in town. 6. Running Costs 7/10 Go for a petrol model and you’re looking at average fuel consumption of 35.8mpg for the 1.8-litre model and 34.5mpg for the 2.0-litre version. Choose diesel and this becomes a more economical 44.9mpg. Choose the TS2 we drove and you’ll be looking at an annual tax bill of £160. The Mazda 5 replaces the Mazda MPV which is falling in value as a result. The new Mazda 5 is expected to lose more than half its value in the first three years. 7. Reliability 7/10 The Japanese manufacturer have a very good reputation for reliability and the robust and well-made Mazda 5 looks likely to follow in that tradition. Being a new model – it replaces the Mazda MPV – means there is no specific past performance to go on. 8. Safety 9/10 Each car comes with six airbags and there’s plenty of technology to leap to the rescue too: ABS, anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution and emergency brake assist. It scored a maximum five stars in the EuroNCAP safety awards. 9. Equipment 8/10 The Mazda 5 is available in four trim grades. The Mazda5 TS comes with a single CD player, electric front windows and all standard safety devices listed above. Upgrade to the TS2, which we drove, and you get the 16-inch alloys, roof rails, electric rear windows and picnic trays for the second row. The Sport model comes with 17ins alloy wheels, a 6 CD autochanger, rear spoiler, front fog lights, climate control air conditioning and privacy glass. Finally, the Sport-Nav adds (you guessed it) a DVD satellite navigation system, including rear-view parking camera as standard. 10. X-Factor 8/10 Flexibility is key to a modern MPV’s success and the Mazda 5 does a good job of creating a good-looking car which – with it’s combination of seating arrangements; sliding doors and excellent safety – should be able to handle whatever you can throw at it.
