itself is in mint condition, it is a very rare ltd edition and has a six speed gearbox and a limited slip differential. Inside the car has a full leather interior with wood trim and a nardi steering wheel / gearknob, it has also had a brand new hood fitted. The Mazda has a long m.o.t but has no tax, there really is nothing at all wrong with the car and whoever buys it will love it. There are a couple of rust blisters showing around the rear brake light, and the engine management light is on due to the cat being removed ( there is no cat sensor so light comes on) Cat can be put back on before sale and engine mangement reset if required. Also the coolant light sometimes comes on (common fault on these) Its a dodgy sensor on the coolant bottle, It hasn`t really bothered me so haven`t had it replaced I just check the coolant level every now and then. The car does have the odd stone chip etc but I would say it is in very good condition for its age. Just Trying to be as honest as possible. We are selling our much-loved Mazda Bongo. All photos are of the actual vehicle. Vehicle is an 8-seater. This is the 2 sliding bench seats model. Back row folds as one and middle row is 1/3:2/3 split. | Rear seats fold flat to form a large double bed, although it is best to use an airbed or similar over the top. | Mileage is very low - approx 54,800 miles at the time of listing. This is shown on the vehicle as kilometres (88,137 kms), but the vehicle has been retro-fitted with a gauge to show speed in miles per hour instead of the original km per hour but the mileage is still shown in kms. | We have the V5 document, DVLA Number Plate Authorisation Certificate from when she was imported from Japan and the JUMVEA (Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association) certificate showing export date as 11 Feb 2008 and mileage at that time of 75,000km. We are the 3rd owners since import. We have a lot of service history - some of it is in Japanese in original service book. | She is in very good condition for her age & drives really well, she pulls like a train & the gear changes are smooth, we have had no mechanical faults since owning her. | The only negative issues worth noting are - there is a small rust spot above the nearside rear wheel arch (see picture) but no rust whatsoever to any of the other wheel arches; there are a few very minor scuffs (example in last photo) and also someone (before we bought her) has had a bit of an accident with the interior of the rear sliding door and they have taped over this (see photo). Also the alloy wheels are rather scuffed. The speedo face reads in MPH but the milometer still reads KMS. The bodywork on this one does require some attention. This is all cosmetic but to make perfect it will require paint to front and rear bumpers, the passenger side rear quarter does have a dent requiring repair and the roof will also require repair/replacement, it is fully operational but will leak in heavy rain. The bodywork has not suffered from any rust issues and from that respect it is excellent. The interior is in excellent condition, both leather seats are largely unworn and in far better condition than any other Eunos of this age that I have seen. The air conditioning will need a regas and both driver and passenger electric window regulators require replacement, a common fault but cheap to fix with parts readily available here on ebay. To drive this is mechanically sound, the engine starts and runs as it should and the gearbox changes up and down gears without fuss. The overdrive function is also working as it should. This one also benefits from lowered suspension and 16" OZ Racing F1 alloys making the handling superb and great fun to drive. longer in a position to go on camping trips so sadly she must go to a better home.She was imported in October 2009 by the previous owner. Since then we have been on various trips within the UK and Europe and I must say that she is fantastic to drive.If you look at the pictures there are some photos of our recent trip to Switzerland and the top of the Susten Pass. She handled the journey brilliantly and it was a real joy with more than enough comfort for the 7 of us that went.The roof is in very good condition, and it still has it`s protective plastic wrapper on it.All of the electrics work, and the aircon is blowing out nice and cold.Included with the Bongo are some nice extras including:2-Din DVD Player, Digital TV and Sat Nav. This system also has Bluetooth music playback and hands-free calling.Connected to this is a rear facing camera to assist reversing. It has a motorised rain cover to protect if from the elements when not required.The headrests of the front seats include DVD players and have remote controls, wireless headphones and games console built in.The Bongo has also been prepared for conversion and has a lino floor.I can also include (if desired) a removable rear kitchen DIY conversion which included electric hookup, 500W under-seat intregrated heater and Origo Spirit Stove. This was made by myself and may need a bit of a tidy up and a new water tap. The Origo stove alone is worth £200.I also have a brand new Khyam Tourer drive-away awning and inner tent with figure of eight adapters which is still in its box and unused. I was going to list this separately, but it`s available at an extra small cost if required.Last year after returning to Switzerland I converted the van to MPH and Miles on the Speedo, so the last 5000 miles or so are in Miles but the rest is in KM.The engine and gearbox run lovely and smooth and the turbo is equally smooth with no issues that i`m aware of.The cooling system is in tip-top condition with no leaks and zero coolant loss. It is something to always be aware with on Bongos so I have checked the coolant on every run. It would always be wise to get a coolant level alarm fitted if you can though as it would save the heartache in the long run. I just never got round to fitting one.The Bongo is also very good with oil and hardly ever needs a drop.As with any vehicle of this age and use, there are some small things that need pointing out as I don`t want anyone to be even slightly disappointed with this lovely Bongo.Firstly, sometimes there is a bit of black smoke when accelerating very hard. The van has had a recent service which has helped but I have been told by an independent that there may be a slight blockage on one of the injectors. A good flush with injector cleaner may sort this out, but worst case it`s not a costly job to sort out. Secondly, there is a slight knocking when going over speed bumps and pot holes. This is probably a bush from the rear anti-roll bar or similar. It`s very minor but I thought it best to mention it all the same.Finally, due to the age and our salty roads there are a few rust bubbles coming up on the rear arches and the odd minor scratch or scuff. But overall the body is in very good condition and is nice and straight.I hope these little issues don`t put you off as honestly they are nothing major and a little bit of time and effort will have them sorted. I was going to get these bits done ready for the camping season but like I have said previously, we are no longer in a position to go camping within the next couple of years so it would be a waste.
