eunos roadster, imported in 2004, as opposed to a uk mx5, hence the fact it is low mileage and completely rust free!. it has done 118,000 kilometres, which is around 74,000 miles, so plenty of life in it yet. we have had it for a couple of years and in that time it hasn`t missed a beat. until recently it was used every day, through rain and snow and it has been utterly reliable. the only work it has needed has been the rear brake calipers overhauled, and a new exhaust system. it went through the last mot 4500 miles ago with no advisories whatsoever, this runs out on may 21st, so the car will be sold with a new mot. the car needs nothing mechanically, and i wouldn`t hesitate to drive it anywhere. tyres are good with lots of tread, brakes are really sharp, gearbox is strong and shifts as it should...a typical bomb proof jap car! cosmetically though, it is a little challenged!, the paint is a few different shades of red, and it suffers from the usual fading that seems to affect this colour more than any other. that said, it still cleans up quite nicely...see pics! the roof is pretty good, with only one really small tear below the back window which has a little piece of black tape on it to keep the rain out!. the interior is clean and tidy, apart from the usual wear to the drivers seat (see pic), and it has a cd player fitted. it is also fitted with an insurance approved alarm (with certificate) the car will also have a new drivers side electric window cable fitted before being sold, as it has just broken (a common mx5 problem apparently). all in all, a great little automatic sports car, ready for summer, for very little money! does accelerate nicely when you want it to. I bought it with 74K on the clock and have added around 30K to that as i used it daily. Shes had new front Discs and pads last year and new rear discs, pads and calipers last year as well. I have also had a new rear and mid section exhaust fitted 2 years ago. I had a tow bar fitted and have used it a few times to Tow a few different trailers with no trouble. So all works well and went through this years MOT with no trouble and has about 7 months left. I have also installed a new battery. Shes not perfect due to a few scratches here and there but all in all a lovely cheap car that will make you smile. Its nice and quick whilst still giving you ample storage for all sorts in the back. I love her but have finally bought a newer car so she has to go. She is located in Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent. I decided to put a new 12 mths Mot on it and Tax it for 6 mths for our personal use about a month ago. I noticed the clutch and flywheel were not the best so I had the clutch and flywheel replaced. I also removed the engine sump to inspect and clean the oil pick up strainer (these block up if oil changes are neglected causing potential engine damage) in this case the strainer was perfectly clean but I always check this as I wouldnt want to sell anybody a potential problem. The overall condition of the car is good for a 9 yr old people carrier with the odd age related scuffs, etc. The alloy wheels could do with a refurb and both tailgate struts are inoperative (£35 for a second hand pair on ebay) I havent done this because Im trying to keep this car as cheap as possible for the new keeper. These cars are going for around the £3000 mark with more miles on them but I just want to get my money back on this 1. Someone will end up with a very useable, economical and practical, cheap! 7 seater, people carrier. So if youre after a bargain on a Mazda MPV Turbo Diesel which needs wheels tidying up,etc. but has been mechanically checked out and totally reliable you wont beat this price for an equivalent model. In 1960 we started a breakdown and accident recovery service as a franchise for the AA and RAC and were also the first garage in Gloucestershire to operate as The National Breakdown Recovery Club ( later changed to green flag) We also developed an accident recovery service and had contacts for almost every garage and main dealer in Gloucestershire. In 1970 stores and accident recovery both flourished and a demand for parts and accident damaged vehicles continued to increase. We then sold the pirton corner premises and bought a plot of land in Twigworth. We then changed the company name to Breakdowns LTD. We were probably the first breakers yard in the country to fully dismantle write-offs and offer a complete off the shelf service. Sales of second hand spares continued to expand. We later decided to drop AA and RAC to concentrate on accident recovery for garages and ourselves. In 1975 due to the rapid increase in sales of spare parts the company name was changed to Twigworth Breakers LTD. In 1985 we ceased the accident recovery service completely to enable us to expand our premises and focus dismantling vehicles that were mostly from insurance companies. Over the next few years we bought more land and expanded to our present size of over 50,000 square feet of parts and storage and enough room for over 400 cars to be stored. until aug 12th ..but i took a chane & run it in todaty..it passed first time.. so its good until may next year ..the only advisory that he could mention was the front offside tyre is low & worn on the inside..a new 185x65x14 budget is only £40..& id also get the tracking done..so around £60 in total..or a part worn for £20.& tracking £20..=£40..your choice..it has 5 previous owners,& i have a few old mots inc the handbook etc..i have only 1 key that is useable as the other is slightly bent & i wouldent trust it..just in case..the key fob is here but its well battered..a new battery may only be needed but once again..your choice..it locks /unlocks anywhere on the car without fault & dosnt cause me any headache.the car drives as it should & runs nice..its quiet & comfy.. there is a option of air conditioning fitted it may need a re gas but its untested it lights up but blows luke warm..the boot is massive..ideal for shopping or even a quad bike pit bike etc,the power steering is light & without squeaks or leaks etc,all electrics are fine as well inc the following..tilt & slide sunroof,electric front windows,central locking,all gauges ,electric mirrors etc.it is around 13 years old & does have the usual battle scars & dinks..nothing major but still present..the worst one being the drivers side electric mirror..its been knocked off previously & ive just gaffa taped it up its secure & still works but once again it needs mentioning..a new replacement is only £45 off e bay..& there is a bit of scabbing /rust on the rear wheelarches..present but of no danger..condition wise id give it 6/10..read my feedback i view things honestly & describe them how i see it you wont be dissapointed a single electric tow bar is also fitted but untested so i cant vouch for that...NOW FOR THE BEST BIT IT HAS HAD THE FOLLOWING ...1.
